An illustrated review of the renumbering schemes for locomotives which were implemented by DB in 1968 and then by the DR in 1970. These schemes involved changes such as class E10s becoming class 110s. For both the DB and DR changes, a brief overview of changes is provided, along with photographs of renumbered locomotives and a full table of class renumbering details. Also includes full renumbering tables for locomotives when the DB and DR were merged to form DB AG. Details of new locomotive numbering and other major class numbering changes are also included.
