An album of archive black & white photographs of trolleybuses operating around the western part of central London, covering routes emanating from Moorgate, Tottenham Court Road and Holbourn towards Camden and Highbury. Scenes around Faringdon and Kings Cross are also featured, with images coming from throughout the 1950s and early 1960s.
This album of over 450 photographs illustrates the final years of trolleybus operation in central London and also shows typical street scenes of areas which have been through immense changes in recent decades.
