Potteries Motor Traction: The Red and Yellow Years (Amberley)

£15.99
3 In Stock

Cliff Beeton has put together this collection of his photographs of buses operated by Stoke-on-Trent area based Potteries Motor Traction (PMT) between bus deregulation in 1986 and the takeover of the company by First Group in the 1990s.

Many of the buses and coaches featured are in PMT’s then standard red and yellow livery, hence the title. PMT acquired a number of other local operators, such as Berresfords Motors and Turners, along with the Chester and Wirral area services of Crosville, whose liveries are also illustrated.

Around 200 colour photographs are presented in two-per-page format, with captions accompanying each image. A short introduction to Potteries Motor Traction is also included. 96 pages.
