1 In Stock

An album of colour photos showing the variety of bus operators, liveries and vehicle types to be seen in Greater Manchester during the 1990s following bus deregulation in 1986. As well as incumbent operator GM Buses and other long-established companies, several smaller independent operators such as Citibus, Mayne of Clayton and Pennine Blue also feature along with municipal operators from neighbouring areas such as Blackburn and Wigan.

The last two chapters cover the low-floor vehicle revolution in the latter part of the decade and the growth of the big groups: First, Stagecoach and Arriva.

96 pages. Approximately 200 colour photos.
