An album of over 160 colour photographs of the iconic NoHAB locomotives in use around Europe.

Based on an American design, a total of 159 locomotives were produced at the NoHAB locomotive works in Sweden from 1954 onwards, for use in Norway, Denmark and Hungary. A further 45 locomotives were built by AFB under license for use in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The locomotives were withdrawn by the national operators in Hungary, Denmark and Norway in the early years of the 21st century, but many were purchased by private operators, with many still in use in Sweden, Norway and Germany.

This book is divided into two parts - the first illustrating the locomotives in use with the national operators and the second covering the locomotives in use with private operators in the 21st century, with a focus on Germany.

Photographs are mostly presented in full page format, with a caption at the foot of the page. German text. Hardback. 160 pages.
