This book contains pairs of ‘then and now’ photographs of locations within the area formerly operated by the Great North of Scotland Railway. This first volume covers the Deeside, Buchan and Speyside lines, as well as some of the company’s shorter branch lines. Each page contains a photograph taken during the railway’s years of operation and a more recent photograph taken since closure.
