A reprint of this book first released in 1998, covering the 4-mile branch line from Kemble to Cirencester.

The branch opened in 1841 and linked Cirencester with the Swindon to Cheltenham line at Kemble. It closed to passengers in 1964, with all services ending in 1965 as a part of the Beeching cuts.

The book starts with the line’s origins and then deals with the ensuing history. Other chapters include a description of the line and signalling.
