The 73 mile journey between Settle and Carlisle is renowned for being one of the most scenic railway lines in Britain, boasting 14 tunnels and 22 viaducts along its length. The spectacular and often bleak landscapes along with masterpieces of railway engineering, including the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct, are captured in colour and black & white photography in this book.
