This is the sixth volume of Thierry Leleu’s La Grande Encyclopedie des Locomotives Françaises series, and forms part of this superb reference work on French motive power, published by Les Editions du Cabri.

La Grande Encyclopedie des Locomotives Françaises 6: Les Rames à Grande Vitesse looks at all high speed trains to have run, or been built in, France. For each type, it includes a short description, a table of technical information and drawings showing the units in each livery that they have carried. This is then followed by several pages of photographs covering most types.

Apart from covering all variants of TGV, plus Eurostar, ICE and Pendolino types, other types of trainset featured include German ICEs, Italian ETR 400s, ETR 460s and ETR 500s, Spanish S-100s, Eurostar e300s and e320s, and French-built units for Marocco and South Korea.

328 colour photographs. 158 livery drawings. French text. Large format hardback. 192 pages.
