This book, compiled by members of the Fifty Fund, contains a series of colour photographs of Class 50 locomotives working on passenger and freight trains, largely during the 1980s. Photographs illustrate these iconic diesel locomotives at locations around the former Western Region, as well as further afield.
Most photographs are presented in two-per-page format, with extensive captions accompanying each. Photographs are of a high standard and include some more 'artistic' shots of the locomotives either at work or at stations and depots. 208 pages.
