Author John Hunt, editor of the 'Moors Line' magazine has put together this collection of colour photographs taken along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway covering the period between the closure by British Railways and the present day.
An introduction to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway is followed by pages of colour photographs, mostly presented in two-per-page format with captions accompanying each image. These photographs illustrate trains operating on the line, including steam and heritage diesel locomotives. Photographs of some of the restoration projects to have taken place on the railway since preservation are also included.
