An album of colour and black & white photographs taken by experienced railway photographer, Gavin Morrison, of railways around the Yorkshire Dales between the 1950s and the present day.

Over 150 photographs illustrate railways crossing the Dales, including the iconic Settle & Carlisle line and several others, covering the period from the steam era through to today's modern railway. Some of the lines featured did not escape closure, whereas other have thrived in recent decades.
