An album of black & white photos of LNER B16 locos mostly taken in their last years of service between the late 1940s and early 1960s. The photos are arranged in numerical order by loco number.
Many of the photos have detailed captions. There is a good mix of passenger and freight trains and locos on shed. There is a full list of locos allocated to each shed with dates of transfer to and from other sheds. The last few photos show the locos being dismantled or awaiting scrapping.
