WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Supply and sale of goods by Platform 5 Publishing Limited is subject to the following standard terms and conditions. By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Platform 5 Publishing website.

YOUR DETAILS When you register with the Platform 5 Publishing website, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.

THE CONTRACT BETWEEN US a) Any contract for purchases made through the web site will be with Platform 5 Publishing Limited, registered in England, and whose registered office is 52 Broadfield Road, SHEFFIELD, S2 4HG, United Kingdom, company registration number 1775093. b) Platform 5 Publishing Limited must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Once payment has been received Platform 5 Publishing Limited will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Platform 5 Publishing Limited’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract. c) Platform 5 Publishing Limited are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email.

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS Platform 5 Publishing will not charge your debit or credit card until shortly before the goods are dispatched to you. If Platform 5 Publishing Limited has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we may charge your card for the portion of your order that is available and dispatch those goods to you. As further goods you have ordered become available we may make further charges to your card and dispatch those goods. If any goods ordered subsequently prove to be permanently unavailable we will not charge your card for those goods. Platform 5 Publishing Limited will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

PLEASE NOTE: Platform 5 Publishing Limited will always endeavour to manage your account in a proficient manner but mistakes can happen. Any sum charged in error to your card will be re-credited as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. We endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can but please remember stocks are limited, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment but the process of updating the website when goods have sold out can take a little time.

DELIVERY OF GOODS a) Platform 5 Publishing Limited will post BY Royal Mail or courier, the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give Platform 5 Publishing Limited at the time you make your order. b) Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted. All delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. c) You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are dispatched to you from our premises in Sheffield.

RETURNS POLICY In all cases you should contact our customer service team before returning any goods to us and always within 30 days of the order being processed. Our customer service team can be contacted on 0114 255 2625, or by post at Platform 5 Publishing Limited, 52 Broadfield Road, SHEFFIELD, S8 0XJ. a) Damaged or mis-printed books - We will gladly replace these books without charge to you. b) Books sent in error (i.e. picking errors) - We will replace these books and arrange facilities for you to return the books delivered in error, either by return to a convenient post office, or by collection by courier service in the case of courier delivered items. c) If the book is unwanted or ordered in error - We will refund the price of the book, less any postage costs incurred by us. You are responsible for returning the book to us. To be eligible for a refund the returned book must be in mint/resalable condition.

LIABILITY This is as follows: a) If the goods Platform 5 Publishing Limited delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Platform 5 Publishing Limited shall have no liability to you unless you notify Platform 5 Publishing Limited in writing at the Platform 5 Publishing Limited contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question. b) If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were dispatched to you, Platform 5 Publishing Limited shall have no liability to you unless you notify Platform 5 Publishing Limited in writing at the Platform 5 Publishing Limited contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were dispatched to you. c) If you notify a problem to Platform 5 Publishing Limited under this condition, Platform 5 Publishing Limited’s only obligation will be, at its option: to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment.

FORCE MAJEURE Platform 5 Publishing Limited shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT These terms and conditions, together with the current Platform 5 Publishing Limited website prices, delivery details and Platform 5 Publishing Limited contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Platform 5 Publishing Limited. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of Platform 5 Publishing Limited. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of Platform 5 Publishing Limited should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by Platform 5 Publishing Limited. Platform 5 Publishing Limited shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

INTERPRETATION In these terms and conditions: ‘Platform 5 Publishing Limited’ means Platform 5 Publishing Limited, 52 Broadfield Road, SHEFFIELD, S8 0XJ, any connected organisation that actually supplies goods ordered by you and any successor to its business; 'working day' means every day of a calendar year apart from weekends and statutory and public holidays; 'us' means ` Platform 5 Publishing Limited’ and you together; and 'you' and 'your' means the person ordering goods under these terms and conditions.
