The second volume of a highly detailed history of the German Class 57(10-35) steam locomotives.

Designed at the beginning of the 20th century for Prussian State Railways, over 2,500 locomotives were built between 1910 and 1924 by nine difference manufacturers. Initially classified as G10s, the locomotives played an important role in both World Wars.

This second volume traces the use of the locomotives after World War 2 (prior to this was covered in Band 1). As well as locomotives used in Germany, this volume also covers locomotives exported to Austria, Turkey, Romania and Poland.

German text. Hardback. 224 pages, including around 400 archive black & white photographs.
