The Deutsche Reichbahn Class 57(10) steam locomotive, better known as the Prussian G10s, were built between 1910 and 1925 to haul heavy freight trains.
Over 2500 examples were built, with their 0-10-0 wheel arrangement making them ideal for freight work.
This DVD traces the history of these locomotives and includes archive footage of the locomotives in action on the main line, as well as footage of the ÖGEG's preserved example of the class.
