A book containing recent black & white photographs of every steam locomotive which is still in existence in India today. Author Vikas Singh has spent nearly two decades travelling around India photographing steam locomotives which are still in existence.
Over 300 locomotives are pictured at over 100 locations around India. The condition of these locomotives varies; some are displayed on plinths outside railway locations, others are at museums and 43 are still in working condition. However, other locomotives are in poor condition.
