The fourth volume of this series from Willowherb Publishing illustrating the railways around Bradford. This volume focuses on the former Midland Railway lines in the post-steam era. Photographs cover the period from the end of steam in the area, right through to the present day.

A short introduction and a map are followed by a series of high-quality colour photographs taken on the featured lines since the end of steam. Each photograph is presented in full-page format with an extensive caption at the foot of the page. The majority of the photographs cover the 1970s and 1980s, with a wide variety of classic diesel locomotive types featured, alongside the first generation diesel multiple units which operated local passenger services during that period. Images of InterCity 225 sets being hauled by diesel locomotives in the early 1990s, before HSTs took over operating the Bradford to King's Cross trains.

A number of more recent photographs are included, bringing the story of Bradford's railways in the post-steam era up to date. Hardback. 112 pages.
