In 2021, the line between Hamburg and Berlin celebrated its 175th anniversary.
Over its long history, the line has seen great change, including the 1930s when it was regularly used for testing and trialling new high-speed trains, including the iconic 'Schienenzeppelin' and 'Fliegende Hamburger', along with other more regular locomotives.
This DVD contains footage covering the history of the line, the division of Germany into two and the modernisaton of the line over the years.
