Bus Stations in Britain:The Fifties to the Eighties is a photographic album presenting a broad array of bus stations found throughout England, Scotland and Wales from the 1950s to the 1980s.

As many of the early bus stations were introduced by Councils’ in the 1930s they were generally undeveloped and so the term “bus station” has been interpreted loosely as an off-street area with some type of infrastructure. Author, Kevin McCormack, has arranged the photographs in alphabetical order of place name and in general there is one picture featured, though in some instances two or three different shots are used to show different areas, replacement or satellite bus stations. The pictures feature a diverse range of buses from the period.

Detailed captions accompany the 149 colour photographs Hardback. 128 pages.
