British Bus Garages: A Portrait (Amberley)

£15.99
1 In Stock

Bus garages have existed in all shapes and sizes since the very earliest days of road transport, with many utilising the depots left behind by closed tram and trolleybus systems. A large number of bus garages which still exist today were previously tram depots, but their numbers are declining as operators seek larger, open spaces to service vehicles.

This book contains a series of colour photographs of buses at depots all over Britain, with most photographs taken from between the late 1960s and the 1990s. Extensive captions accompany each photograph, providing details about the vehicle and depot where it is pictured.

An introduction to bus garages is also included. 96 pages.
