An album of black & white photos of the distinctive Type G trams in their last decade of service in the Austrian capital, Wien (Vienna).
This was the most numerous and longest-serving class of tram ever to be built for Vienna’s extensive tramway network, 520 vehicles of this type having been constructed between 1901 and 1903. The photos are arranged in roughly numerical order by fleet number. The trams are depicted in a variety of locations all over the city, operating singly and hauling one, two or three trailers.
