This DVD examines the history and current operation of railways in the area between Bitterfeld, Halle and Merseburg; an area known for its chemical industry, as well as other heavy industry.
Today, MEG and Infraleuna trains can be seen on private and main line railways in the area. This DVD contains footage of the modern locomotives used by both companies today, as well as looking at locomotives used in the past. These include some of Germany's most famous diesel locomotive types.
