Glasgow featured in two volumes of its own, but the west of Scotland saw a number of smaller tramways in existence during the late 19th and 20th centuries. These included:

For each tramway, a short history is provided, along with a basic network map. The main part of the book consists of archive black & white images of the tramways in operation.
