A short history and introduction to trams in Leeds is followed by a look at tram depots which housed trams serving the east of Leeds during the tramway's years of operation. The main section of the book contains black & white photographs of trams operating around the east of the city during the 1950s. This volume covers routes towards Roundhay, Compton Road, Gipton, Temple Newsam, Middleton and routes along York Road.
