An album of colour photographs of the Blackpool Tramway, taken throughout the last 40 years.

The tramway in Blackpool opened in the 1880s and from the 1930s the tramway operated a fleet of streamlines tramcars, some of which saw service well into the 21st century. In 2011, the conventional tramway closed and was reopened in 2012 as a modern light rail system with a fleet of new articulated, single deck vehicles.

This book presents a selection of images taking us on a journey along the tramway from Starr Gate to Fleetwood. Photographs include each tram type to have operated during the last 40 years and each is accompanied by an informative caption.

An introduction to Blackpool's famous tramway is also included. 96 pages.
