Merseyside is an area whose bus scene is dominated by two major operators; Arriva and Stagecoach. However, there was still a great deal of variety to be observed in Merseyside's bus fleets during the second decade of the 21st century.
In this book, photographer Simon Ackers presents a selection of colour photographs taken between 2010 and 2020 of buses operating around Merseyside. Photographs illustrate the changing bus fleet throughout the decade as DDA requirements meant high-floor vehicles were quickly replaced with newer low-floor types.
The author worked in the local bus industry during this period, which is reflected in the details included in the captions accompanying each photograph. 96 pages.
