London's ALX400 Buses (Amberley)

£15.99
Back Order

The Alexander ALX400 was the first low-floor bus body built in the UK, first appearing in 1997. A vast number of the vehicles were built between 1997 and 2006, with many remaining in service with operators all over the UK and further afield.

This book looks at the vehicles which were purchased to operate in London with Arriva, Stagecoach, First and Go-Ahead. Over 170 colour photographs are included of the type in operation around London between the late 1990s and the present day.

Each photograph is accompanied by an extensive caption, which provides information about the bus, operator and route. An introduction is also included, looking at the vehicles and their use around London.
