This book looks at the history of the line from Niederwiesa – Roßwein in Eastern Germany. Originally built as a private railway, it was bought by the national railways in the 1870’s but was never electrified. Due to declining traffic, the northern section of the line closed in 1998, with the southern half of the route being taken over by the Chemnitz City Bahn Gmbh. Well illustrated. Hardback. 160 pages.
