An album of colour photographs taken along the Cornish main line between Plymouth and Penzance. The photographs date from between the late 1960s to the 21st century, with most photographs focusing on the 1970s and 1980s.
Photographs are presented as a journey along the line from Plymouth to Penzance, with a selection of photographs used to illustrate each part of the journey. Many locomotive types are included, with many illustrating the diesel-hydraulic locomotives which were used on the line for much of the period covered.
Each chapter contains a short introduction, followed by a series of photographs, each accompanied by an informative caption. Hardback. 92 pages. Published 2016.
