An album of colour photographs from renowned railway photographer, Derek Huntriss, of diesel locomotives operating around Britain during the 1950s and 1960s. This was a time when diesel was replacing steam power and many new types of diesel locomotive were entering service. Photographs are arranged in chapters, each covering a region of Britain’s railways. Captions accompany each photograph and introductions are provided for each region. 96 pages.
