A collection of good quality colour photographs showcasing the thriving heritage line that is the Kent and East Sussex Railway, and the fledgling Rother Valley Railway that hopes one day to link up with the K&ESR. Both lines were constructed as light railways, requiring minimal engineering, by Colonel H.F. Stephens.
The photographs are all taken in the heritage era and mostly since 2000. They are presented as a journey along each line and feature a representative selection of images, covering steam and diesel locomotives, various items of coaching stock and station scenes. All of the images are accompanied by explanatory captions.
