An illustrated history of the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway, a line built in the 1860s to connect Hereford with Three Cocks Junction. For much of its life it was used by the Midland Railway as a means of getting goods to Swansea. Although a passenger service did run on the line, it never saw commercial success and the line closed in the 1960s.

This book traces the history of the line, including how to came into existence and how it was operated throughout its history. A description of the line is also provided, including plenty of black & white photographs taken along the line.
