A photographic album of colour images, most of which were taken by Nick Nicolson, a railway employee, whilst on his travels during 1957 and 1958. Areas covered include Swindon Works, Manchester, London, Scotland, Cumbria, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The selection of images has been compiled (and in a couple of cases, added to) by Ron White, who has produced the accompanying captions with reference to Nick’s notes.
