An album of archive black & white photographs taken by photographer, Dick Riley during the 1950s and early 1960s. Photographs cover the Great Western Main Line from London Paddington towards Reading and Didcot.

Photographs cover a variety of different locomotive and train types, including express passenger trains to the West Country and also local passenger and freight trains. Over 90 photographs are featured, with each one accompanied by an informative caption. An introduction to Dick Riley and to trains operating west from London Paddington is also included.
