A history of Brotherhoods Engineers who were involved in building parts of the Great Western Railway and were also involved in building rolling stock, radial engines and engines for naval ships. Following the death of Rowland Brotherhood, the company went on to produce motor cars, armaments for World War I and engines for tanks and aircraft.
