An illustrated history of the two vessels ‘Pride of Dover’ and ‘Pride of Calais’ which were introduced in 1987 as a response to forthcoming opening of the Channel Tunnel. Labelled as ‘Chunnel Beaters’, these vessels became very popular and served on the Dover to Calais route until their retirement in 2010 and 2012. This book looks at the history of the two vessels and is well illustrated throughout with colour and black & white photographs. 60 pages.
