This book tells the story of National Express’s coach division, the main operator of long-distance coach services in the UK, from the early days of the National Bus Company in the early 1970s to the 2010s.

The text at the front of the book describes the main developments with the company’s coach operations during that time, including changes to the vehicle fleet, corporate identity, service revisions and acquisitions of other operators. The rest of the book is given over to photos of coaches taken all over the UK and carrying the various versions of the National Express livery. Also featured are the vehicles of other operators where NatEx later acquired the vehicle and/or the operator or whose coaches were temporarily hired to NatEx.

Around 200 colour photos. 96 pages. Softback.
