This book contains a series of colour photographs of buses operated by independent companies throughout the first decade of the 21st century. Covers a period of great transition, when older vehicles were being replaced by newer low-floor buses and when several well-known operators disappeared as they were taken over by large transport groups. The colour photographs illustrate a variety of bus and coach types, captured all around Britain during this period. A short overview of the British bus scene in the 2000s is included as an introduction and all photographs are all accompanied by informative captions. 96 pages.
