Traditional locomotive haulage has been on the decline in the UK since the mid-1980s, but the locomotive-hauled passenger train is alive and well in many areas of the world. International Passenger Locomotives Since 1985 contains a collection of colour photographs illustrating such trains in 31 different countries.
Most of the illustrations are presented in two-per-page format and all are accompanied by detailed captions giving specific details of the locomotives and trains illustrated. Author, Andy Flowers, has also included a useful table of locomotive builders covering all of the pictured locomotive classes and giving details of the present status of those builders.
The majority of the images in International Passenger Locomotives Since 1985 are taken in Europe but the USA and Canada are also featured. 96 pages.
