An illustrated review of the railways around the Mosel and Saar between the 1960s and 2020. The impressive photos show the most important routes, including that through the picturesque Mosel Valley, plus the trains, locomotives, depots and stations.

The first half of Schienenverkehr an Mosel und Saar is presented as a journey along the routes from Koblenz to Trier, Trier to Saarbrucken, Trier to Luxembourg, plus a handful of branch lines and the route towards France. The next chapters look at freight traffic and the locomotive depots that serve the area.

The final sections of the book look at celebrity locomotives that have graced the area, museum operations and recent plandampf events. Most of the photographs throughout the book are in colour, accompanied by a few archive black & white examples. Around 160 photographs. Hardback. 120 pages. German text.
