An illustrated history of Perth’s tramway system and early buses operating in the town, up to the 1940s. The tramway was constructed in late 19th century and operated using horse and petrol power until electrification in 1905. The final trams ran in Perth in 1929, when buses took over. This book follows the construction, operation and closure of the tramway and also looks at early buses to operate in and around the town. Illustrated with archive photographs. 80 pages.
