Lost Tramways of Scotland: Edinburgh (Graffeg)

£8.99
Back Order

An album of black & white photos of Edinburgh trams mostly taken in their last few years of operation between the late 1940s and closure of the city’s first generation tramway in 1956.

At the front there is a network map, a horse tram, an early electric open top car and a cable tram photo, the city having possessed Britain’s largest cable tram network. These are followed by sections covering each route, each of which consists of a few pages of photos with detailed captions including a brief description of the tramcar illustrated and the date of closure of the route in question.

Hardback. 64 pages. Approximately 50 black & white photos.
