An album of black & white photographs taken by Glasgow resident John Hume during the final years trams in the city. The system was gradually phased out between 1949 and 1962 when the last tram, a number 9 tram to Dalmuir, ran.

The images in this book illustrate each of the tram types operating during this time at locations around the city's tram network. Many of the photographs also show typical street scenes from the early 1960s.

The book contains a short introduction to trams in the city, followed by a series of black & white photographs, largely taken between 1960 and 1962. Photographs are presented in one-per-page format with a caption at the foot of each page. 56 pages.
