A collection of colour and black & white photographs taken along the Midland & South Western Junction railway, an independent cross-country line which ran north–south through the south of England. This volume covers the line after its closure and abandonment in 1961, including the freight traffic which still ran on isolated sections. Photographs illustrate the line and the trains which used it. Captions accompany each photograph and an introduction to the line is also included. 120 pages.
